Azure OpenAI

In the Azure portal

1. Create or open an Azure OpenAI resource.
2. Deploy a model (Azure AI Foundry ▸ Deployments) and note its deployment name.
3. On Keys and Endpoint, copy KEY 1 and the endpoint. The resource name is the first part of the endpoint: https://<resource>.openai.azure.com.

In PDF Pals v2

1. Open Settings ▸ AI Providers, click +, choose Azure OpenAI, then Next.
2. Paste the API key.
3. Under Connect with, enter a Resource Name, or a Custom Base URL such as https://<resource>.openai.azure.com/openai.
4. Enter the Deployment name. Leave API version (optional) empty.
5. Click Next.

With Connect with set to Custom Base URL, you can click Import URL… and paste a full endpoint URL instead.
