Chat context limit

The context limit sets how much of the conversation is sent with each question. More context helps follow-up questions; less is faster and cheaper with a cloud provider.

In PDF Pals v2

1. In a chat, choose Chat ▸ Chat Settings… (⌘;).
2. Under General ▸ Answers, pick a Context: Only the new question, Last 1 message pair to Last 50 message pairs (a question and its answer), or All previous messages.

New chats start with Last 10 message pairs.

To start fresh in the same chat, choose Chat ▸ Reset Context (⇧⌘K). Chat ▸ Clear Context Marker undoes it.
