Voice input and Read Aloud

Ask by voice

1. Click the microphone next to the question field.
2. The first time, allow Microphone Access and Speech Recognition.
3. Speak, then click Insert Transcript. Edit the text if you like, and send.

When macOS supports it for your language, speech is turned into text on your Mac.

Listen to an answer

Click Read Aloud (the speaker) below an answer. The bar that appears has:

• Playback Speed, from 0.5× to 2×
• Back 15 Seconds and Forward 15 Seconds
• Stop Reading

Read Aloud uses your Mac's voice for your language.
